Description

It does not stalk its prey — it charges, bellowing, feathers bristling, one enormous claw already reaching for your throat.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Barlgura is one of the Abyss's most visceral horrors: a demon that resembles a great ape draped in overlapping feathers and scaled plates, with the temperament of a creature that has never once been outrun. Born of rage and bound by nothing, Barlguras are the shock troops of demon lords — summoned to smash through defences, scatter formations, and drag screaming prey into the dark. This sculpt captures that ferocious energy with extraordinary detail: layers of overlapping feathers across a massively muscled frame, curling talons on those outstretched hands, and a snarling, tusked face twisted mid-roar. The reaching claw pose gives the mini an immediate, dangerous presence whether it's bearing down on a hapless paladin or commanding a shelf of your display collection.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale, this is a large creature befitting its Challenge Rating — expect it to dominate the battlefield and draw every eye at the table. Equally compelling as a painted collector's piece, where those layered feathers reward careful drybrushing and contrast paints in equal measure.

Designed for adventurers who:

  • Need a powerful, characterful demon for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
  • Are running demonic invasion arcs, Abyssal cult encounters, or Underdark campaigns
  • Want a large-scale monster miniature that holds its own on both the gaming table and the display shelf
  • Love a sculpt with layered texture that rewards detailed painting

Encounter Hook:
The party follows the trail of destruction into the ruins of a border village — overturned carts, shattered doorframes, claw marks raked through stone. Then they hear it: a low, rhythmic impact, growing louder. Around the corner, a Barlgura is methodically pounding apart the last standing wall, searching for something — or someone — still hiding inside.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base; the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a drop of superglue. Each mini is printed to a high standard — supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks can occasionally occur as part of the printing process and are easily tidied up. Fully cured and ready to prime and paint, or use straight out of the box.
