The barlgura is one of D&D's most viscerally compelling lower demons — a creature that looks like something evolution would have produced if evolution answered to Demogorgon. This sculpt from Novaminis captures exactly that energy: a broad, shaggy-furred body covered in layered, ragged feathers and scales, wide grasping claws, and a face that manages to combine ape-like brutishness with genuine demonic malice. Swept-back horns curve above its brow, and its wide-mouthed snarl exposes a row of heavy teeth. The pose suggests forward momentum — weight shifting, arms spread, ready to charge or lunge.
