Description

They say Roarke Swampfeather's music lingers in the marshes long after he's gone — a hollow melody that makes the fireflies flicker and the reeds lean close to listen.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a character sculpted with extraordinary narrative depth. The front-facing pose shows Roarke as a hooded figure in a jester's cap, robes layered with intricate scroll-work, one hand raised mid-incantation and the other gripping an ornate lute — its body carved with flowing detail. Coiling tendrils or ribbons sweep dramatically behind him, giving a sense of restless, otherworldly energy. He reads immediately as a Bard who deals in whispers and secrets as much as melodies.

The alternate form — shown from behind — reveals something altogether stranger: an enormous, intricately decorated orb replacing the figure's head, adorned with circular motifs, bound in rope, and crowned with a tiny carved bird. This masked or transformed aspect gives Roarke genuine ambiguity. Is the orb a disguise, a curse, a magical instrument in its own right? That question is yours to answer at your table. As a player character sculpt or a scene-stealing NPC, he carries enough visual personality to anchor an entire arc. Both the bard-forward pose and the masked form are captured across the images — making this a sculpt that rewards adventurers who look closely.

  • Adventurers building a Bard PC with a dark-folk or Feywild flavour
  • Dungeon Masters wanting a charismatic, morally ambiguous NPC or mysterious quest-giver
  • Collectors drawn to character sculpts with strong lore presence and painterly detail
  • Anyone who needs a performer whose second face is decidedly unsettling

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a fog-draped village to find the locals gathered in a trance around a cloaked figure playing a lute in the town square. The music is beautiful. The musician has no face — only a great brass sphere covered in concentric rings, humming softly in time with the strings. When the music stops, Roarke Swampfeather turns, tilts what should be his head, and says: "Ah. You're the ones the crow told me about."

Roarke Swampfeather is printed at 32mm scale. The base (decorative or plain black) is included separately and attaches easily. If you select the decorative base option, please drop us a note at checkout to let us know which base style you'd like. Each miniature is printed to a high standard — supports are removed, though minor marks are an occasional part of the process and can be tidied up before priming. All pieces are fully cured and ready for your brush.
