Description
In the Ninth Layer's most notorious bakery, the smell of fresh bread masks something far more sinister — and the head baker hasn't taken off his apron in six hundred years.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Barbed devils are creatures of infernal discipline, bound by contract and purpose in the hierarchy of the Nine Hells. This particular specimen has found his calling — or been assigned it — in the kitchens of some forgotten lord's fortress. Wearing a battered chef's hat and a tattered apron over his barb-covered frame, he presents a tray of freshly baked loaves with one clawed hand while leaning on a long-handled bread peel with the other. His fanged sneer suggests the bread may not be entirely wholesome. The sculpt is rich with dark absurdist detail: cloven feet, coiling barbed legs, a face full of barely contained menace, and the quiet implication that nobody has ever dared complain about the service.
Whether you're running a hellish banquet scene, a devil-staffed tavern in Avernus, or simply want a miniature that will make your players laugh before they roll initiative, the Barbed Devil Baker earns a place at your table and on your display shelf in equal measure.
A brilliant choice for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable NPC for a Nine Hells or Avernus campaign
- Want a characterful boss or recurring devil encounter with a comedic edge
- Are building a themed infernal kitchen, tavern, or banquet scene
- Collect dark fantasy miniatures with genuine personality
Encounter Hook:
The party has been invited to dine with Archduke Bel's steward — a formal affair, apparently. But the bread placed before them carries a faint infernal glyph, and the barbed devil waiter is watching from the kitchen doorway with far too much interest in whether they take a bite.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be secured with a small amount of glue. Every miniature is checked before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally occur and are easily remedied with light sanding.
