The Barbed Devil is one of the Nine Hells' most visceral enforcers: a lanky, spike-covered fiend dispatched by archdevils to guard, intimidate, and retrieve. Every inch of this sculpt earns its name — jagged spines erupt from its shoulders, arms, and crown, while its clawed hands are spread wide in a posture that reads as both threat and invitation. It is not here to negotiate. It is here because someone already did.
In D&D 5e, Barbed Devils are lawful evil fiends, bound to the will of more powerful devils and entirely willing to use their barbed hides as weapons. They make formidable front-line monsters, infernal bodyguards, and deeply unsettling warlock patron emissaries.
