Barbarian War Chief (Tygrin) by DM Stash

Tygrin Char is a war chief who earns his authority the old way — through blood, endurance, and an axe that has never rusted because it has never been left dry. This sculpt captures him at the moment of command: one foot planted atop a shattered boulder, a broad rune-engraved battle axe swung low and ready, and a brutal claw gauntlet bristling from his right fist. He wears mismatched heavy armour decorated with a carved wolf-skull chest piece, iron rings, and tribal cord-wrappings around his forearms and shins — armour that tells a story of a dozen campaigns rather than a single armourer's workshop. Over it all drapes the spotted pelt of a great cat, the beast's skull riding his head like a crown. His expression is not fury — it's the cold assessment of a man deciding whether you're worth the effort.
The sculpt rewards painters generously: the rune-work on the axe blade, the texture of the fur pelt, the individual links of the mail beneath his pauldrons, and the gnarled stone base all offer distinct surfaces to work across. Equally compelling left unpainted on a display shelf or dropped straight onto a battle map.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a commanding barbarian PC with a tribal warlord aesthetic
- Are building a rival faction leader or powerful enemy NPC for their campaign
- Want a boss-tier encounter piece that commands presence on the table
- Collect high-detail fantasy character minis for painting and display
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to negotiate safe passage through the Thornback Wastes — but when they arrive at the war camp, Tygrin Char is already standing over the body of the last envoy who tried. He turns, axe still in hand, and asks them in perfectly articulate Common: "Did your employer tell you what the last group offered me?" The party has thirty seconds to give a better answer.

What's included:
Tygrin Char is printed at 32mm scale. The miniature and scenic rock base are separate pieces and attach easily with superglue — the base is sculpted to interact with the figure's pose, so we'd recommend using it as intended for the full effect. The mini arrives ready to prime and paint, or display as-is straight from the box.
