Description
In the roaring pit of the Southern Arena, no name draws louder jeers and louder cheers than Sindan — the warrior who fights not for glory, but for something far more dangerous: a reason.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Sindan the Southern Hammer is a powerfully-built human warrior with his hair pulled up in a tight top-knot, a neatly-trimmed beard, and intricate tattoos climbing both arms. He strides forward with deliberate, predatory purpose — his massive, ornate maul held low at his side, the fiercely-crafted hammerhead adorned with decorative scrollwork and tipped with a pronged spike. He wears layered fighter's robes over scale armour, with circular disc-clasps at the chest, a wide studded belt, and rope-bound greaves — the look of a seasoned gladiator who has earned every piece of kit the hard way.
The base is scattered with rocky debris and dried foliage, giving him the feel of a combatant mid-entrance into the arena sands. The level of sculpted detail — from the individual scales on his skirt armour to the rope-wrapped haft of his weapon — makes this a genuinely rewarding model to paint, whether you're going for arena-dusty grime or bold, tournament-ready colours.
In game terms, Sindan translates naturally to a Barbarian, Fighter, or Monk — any martial class whose power comes from physicality, discipline, and controlled fury. He works equally well as a player character, a named NPC rival, or the reigning champion the party must face in a gladiatorial challenge arc.
Suits adventurers who are:
- Running a gladiatorial arena campaign or tournament arc
- Looking for a named rival NPC with genuine presence
- Playing a barbarian, fighter, or monk with a weapon-focused build
- Wanting a display piece with rich tattoo and armour detail to paint up
Encounter Hook: The party has been contracted to enter the Southern Arena under assumed names — but when they reach the quarter-finals, their opponent is announced as Sindan the Southern Hammer. The crowd falls momentarily quiet. Their handler goes pale. Sindan has never lost a sanctioned bout, and the rumour is he threw his last three matches on purpose — just to see who they'd put against him next.
