This broad-shouldered barbarian is sculpted mid-lunge, axe swinging overhead and a short blade braced at his side — every muscle in his frame engaged, his whole body committed to the strike. His torso is bare save for a studded leather collar and a belt hung with rough-cut pouches, while a heavy cloak of overlapping scale-like hide billows behind him, adding real weight and movement to the composition. Laced bracers, bound leg wraps, and spike-tipped gauntlets round out the look of a warrior who has assembled his kit from the spoils of those who came before him.
The detailing on this sculpt rewards careful painting — the layered hide cloak in particular offers excellent depth for dry-brushing and washes, while the bare torso is a natural canvas for careful shading and tattoo work. Whether you lean into a primal, earthy palette or go for something wilder, the pose reads clearly from across the table at a glance.
This miniature works equally well as a Player Character — barbarian, fighter, or Totem Warrior — or as a battle-hardened mercenary captain, tribal champion, or cult enforcer on the Dungeon Master's side of the screen.
