Barbarian King (Kreyvos) by Primal Collectibles

He does not rise to greet you — kings don't rise. Kreyvos simply watches from his lion-flanked throne, spear in hand, and waits to see whether you are worth his attention.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Kreyvos is not a king who inherited his throne. Every scratch on his armour, every scar beneath his fur mantle, was earned in open combat. He sits with the casual authority of a man who has never once doubted his right to rule — one hand gripping a tall war-spear, the other resting at his jaw as though weighing whether the conversation is worth his time. The lion-headed armrests of his throne are no accident of décor: they are a declaration.

The sculpt captures that rare combination of physical dominance and cold intelligence. His broad chest bears a central emblem worked into the armour plate, his pauldrons are wreathed in feathered or furred detailing, and his horned circlet marks him as a ruler whose claim is written in blood as much as birthright. This is a character whose presence at the head of a war-table should make even seasoned adventurers reconsider their next move.

Kreyvos works brilliantly as the final revelation of a campaign arc — the warlord behind the raids, the king whose emissaries your party has been outmanoeuvring for months. He is equally compelling as a morally complex patron: a ruler whose brutal methods achieve real peace, and who wants the party to do something that will test their convictions. On the display shelf he makes a commanding centrepiece, especially at 75mm scale where every detail of his armour and expression rewards careful brushwork.

Kreyvos is a multipart miniature and is available with a choice of bases to suit your table or display setup.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

• Need a formidable BBEG warlord-king for a political or conquest-themed campaign
• Want a physically imposing ruler NPC for throne room encounters and high-stakes negotiations
• Are painting a centrepiece display piece and want maximum sculpt detail to work with
• Run campaigns where the line between enemy and uneasy ally is deliberately blurred

Encounter Hook

The party is granted an audience with Kreyvos after weeks of operating against his forces. He receives them without guards visible — not because there are none, but because he wants them to know he doesn't feel he needs them. He has one question before he'll consider their proposal: "Which of you killed my Champion at the bridge?" Whoever answers will determine whether this becomes a negotiation or an execution.
