This is a chipmunk barbarian chieftain in the truest sense — compact, ferocious, and dripping with personality. Sculpted by La Louve 3D, this characterful miniature depicts an upright chipmunk warrior clutching a sturdy hand axe raised in one paw and a banded wooden shield gripped in the other. The sculpt is packed with texture: thick, layered fur covers the body, feathered fletching-like details sit at the shoulders, and the face bears a gloriously self-satisfied smirk that suggests this chieftain has won every fight he's ever started.

The crowning detail — quite literally — is the stag skull helmet perched atop his head, antlers sweeping back dramatically and the skull's teeth still visible along the brow. It's a statement piece that says I defeated something much larger than me, and I am wearing it to remind you of that fact. The shield is planked wood reinforced with metal studs, battered but functional — much like its owner.

This miniature works brilliantly as a quirky BBEG for a low-level forest adventure, a tribe leader for a mousefolk or ratfolk warband, or even a chaotic good Player Character for adventurers who enjoy a bit of theatrical menace at the table. Painters will relish the contrast between the fine fur texture, the smooth skull, and the wood-grain detail on the shield.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Run forest encounters with organised beastfolk factions
  • Want a chieftain or warlord mini with serious visual character
  • Play or DM with mousefolk, ratfolk, or small humanoid creature settings
  • Love characterful sculpts that reward careful brushwork
  • Collect beastfolk or fey-adjacent miniatures for display

Encounter Hook: The party is hired to broker peace between two rival chipmunk clans, only to discover both clans have unified under a single warlord — one who has declared war on the humans building a road through his ancestral forest. The warlord, helm adorned with stag skull and eyes gleaming with cunning, is willing to parley. But his shield is already on his arm.
