From the Uncharted Kingdoms: The Mighty Stone collection by Primal Collectibles, this Banshee sculpt is a genuinely unsettling piece of work. She rises from a churning pillar of spectral flame, her lower body dissolving into billowing ghostly wisps that coil around the sculpted stone base beneath her. Her arms are outstretched, fingers curled into ragged claws, and her face is locked in an open-mouthed shriek — hair blazing upward like pale fire. The detail across her tattered robes and the fluid, dynamic movement of the ectoplasmic flames make this a piece that commands attention from every angle.
In D&D 5e, a Banshee is the corrupted remnant of an elf who prized beauty and life above all else — now cursed to haunt the place of her death, her Horrifying Visage capable of ageing creatures decades in an instant and her Wail capable of dropping those who fail their save to zero hit points. This sculpt captures that horrifying duality: there is still something tragically feminine in her bearing, but it is utterly consumed by spectral rage. Whether you're placing her as the guardian of a haunted manor, the centrepiece of a cursed crypt encounter, or the focal point of a grief-soaked narrative arc, this miniature carries the weight of the lore.
Equally at home on the gaming table and on a display shelf, she's a rewarding painting project — the sweeping flame textures are built for contrast and OSL effects, and her expression is sharp enough to reward careful face painting.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a characterful, lore-accurate Banshee for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building haunted locations, cursed ruins, or gothic horror campaign arcs
- Want a display-worthy undead centrepiece that stands out on a shelf
- Enjoy painting challenges with dramatic flame effects and expressive faces
- Are Dungeon Masters who want their named villains to have a visual presence at the table
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the missing historian to the ruins of Vaelthra's estate — but the moment they cross the threshold, the temperature drops and a voice that is not quite human whispers a name. One of the party's names. She has been waiting. She has always been waiting. And she is so very angry about the waiting.
