Description

He stepped out from the treeline with a blade in each hand and a scarf pulled tight across his face — and nobody at the table needed to be told this wasn't going to be a friendly conversation.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of the Bandit Thug range from Galaad Miniatures' Into the Woods collection. The sculpt captures a hardened, masked cutpurse mid-advance — padded coat buckled tight, twin short swords drawn low and ready, expression cold above the face-wrap he's made his signature. There's a well-worn utility to every detail: belt pouches, strapped bracers, scuffed boots — this is someone who has done this before, and intends to do it again. He'd be equally at home as a recurring antagonist, a guild enforcer, or a rogue PC who's made some questionable life choices.

The sculpt comes from the Into the Woods series, lending itself naturally to forest ambushes, rural crime factions, and the kind of morally interesting encounters that leave your players debating whether to fight, negotiate, or quietly rob him first.

Perfectly suited for adventurers who:

  • Run road ambush or wilderness encounter tables and want distinctive, characterful enemies
  • Need a recurring thug NPC with enough personality to be remembered by name
  • Are building out a bandit gang, thieves' guild, or organised crime faction for their campaign
  • Play rogues, fighters, or dual-wielding characters looking for a strong tabletop or display piece
  • Collect gritty, grounded humanoid sculpts alongside their monster minis

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to escort a merchant's wagon through the Thornwood Pass. Three days in, they find a tree felled across the road — and this one steps out from the undergrowth, blades drawn, flanked by four crossbowmen they haven't spotted yet. He doesn't threaten. He just says: "The cargo. Leave it and walk." Whether the players comply, fight, or try to talk their way into his confidence could define the next three sessions.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative base are separate pieces — attach with superglue. Some sculpts interact closely with their base, so we recommend fitting the base for the best overall look. Printed without supports, though minor marks from the print process may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime.
