Bandit Captain Male by MZ4250
Description
He didn't rise to lead by waiting — and the look on his face makes it very clear he doesn't intend to start now.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Bandit Captain is a brute with a brain: broad-shouldered, bearded, and caught mid-charge with a curved blade raised overhead and his free hand curled into a fist. He wears a practical kit of layered leather armour, a bandana tied back over his head, and a belt heavy with pouches — the gear of a man who earns his living at sword-point and plans ahead regardless. The crouching, forward-lunging stance gives the sculpt genuine momentum; this is not a man standing in a doorway looking menacing, he is already crossing the room.
At 32mm scale, the detail on his face — the open, shouting mouth, the set jaw, the visible beard texture — reads clearly both on the tabletop and up close in a display cabinet. He works equally well as a recurring antagonist, a faction enforcer, or the kind of morally-grey hired blade who might end up working with the party if the gold is right.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a named bandit leader to anchor a road ambush or a thieves' guild encounter
- Are running a campaign with criminal factions, mercenary bands, or urban crime storylines
- Want a characterful Fighter or Barbarian proxy for a player character who leans into the rough-and-tumble aesthetic
- Collect human humanoid minis for display painting projects
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen merchant ledger — only to find the Bandit Captain already has it open on the table in front of him, and he's been reading their names in it for the past ten minutes. He knows who sent them. He has a counter-offer. And the six crossbowmen on the gallery above are there in case the party isn't interested in negotiating.
