Bandit Captain Lizardfolk by MZ4250
Description
In the fetid backwaters where the swamp meets the trade road, a lizardfolk war-captain steps forward — sword levelled, shield raised, and utterly unafraid of what comes next.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Bandit Captain Lizardfolk from sculptor MZ4250 is a formidable presence on the table. The sculpt shows a powerfully built lizardfolk warrior in a wide combat stance, right arm extended with a short sword thrust forward and a large round shield gripped in the left. Spined ridges run from the skull down the back, overlapping with layered scale texture across the torso, arms, and tail. A skull-adorned sash crosses the chest, a pouch belt sits at the waist, and the heavy tail sweeps low behind — every detail reading as a seasoned fighter who has survived more ambushes than most adventurers have planned. Mounted on a flat round base, this is a single-piece sculpt that translates directly to the tabletop with no assembly required.
Whether you're running a Lizardfolk warband as a mid-tier threat, building out a swamp-region faction, or giving your players a recurring rival with real visual presence, this captain has the authority to command the scene. Equally at home as a display piece for collectors who appreciate a characterful reptilian sculpt.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a named Lizardfolk leader, war-chief, or bandit commander for their campaign
- Want a visually distinctive rival or recurring antagonist for a swamp or coastal arc
- Are running a Lizardfolk player character seeking a battle-ready fighter sculpt
- Collect characterful humanoid minis for painting or display
Encounter Hook:
The party follows a merchant's plea to recover stolen goods — but when they track the thieves to a river crossing, they find not a rabble but a disciplined Lizardfolk war-band, led by this captain, who has already sold the goods onward and is now deciding whether the adventurers are worth ransoming or simply adding to the swamp.
