This is pose 01 of our Bandit Brute range by Novaminis, and it means business. This barrel-chested enforcer is sculpted mid-swagger — one arm cocked back, weight shifting forward, a heavy riveted maul carried at the hip alongside a battered square shield cracked from previous encounters. He wears a studded leather breastplate stitched with coarse cross-lacing, a chain skirt heavy with gear and hanging clubs, and spiked boots that suggest he doesn't much worry about leaving marks. His bald head, jutting jaw, and ear-ring give him the kind of face that belongs to a man who has broken up more than a few bar disputes — and started just as many.

Whether he's the muscle guarding a smuggler's cache in a riverside warehouse, the first heavy through the door during a roadside ambush, or the lieutenant of a bandit gang your players have been tracking for three sessions, this sculpt carries genuine threat without tipping into caricature. There's character in every rivet and scar — which makes him just as rewarding to paint as he is to place on the table.

Encounter Hook:
The party rounds a bend on the King's Road to find three wagons overturned and the merchants on their knees. Standing over them — arms folded, maul resting against his shoulder — is a bald brute in studded leather who simply says: "Leave your coin. Keep your hands." The real question is whether he's working alone, or whether the treeline is considerably more crowded than it looks.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Printed to a high level of detail; supports are removed before despatch. Minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up with light sanding. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready to prime and paint, or to use straight from the box.
