Description

It looked like a traveller's satchel, buckled and worn — until it stood up and walked towards the party.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Pouch of Reverie is one of those beautifully wrong creatures that makes an entire table go quiet when you place it down. Sculpted with a detailed leather messenger bag for a body — complete with buckles, a decorative arcane medallion, and a braided rope trim — it walks on two wiry, sinew-stretched human legs, barefoot and deliberate. It belongs somewhere between mimic territory and pure folklore horror, the kind of thing a clever DM drops into a market scene or a dungeon corridor to completely wrong-foot their players.

The sculpt is rendered as a digital render in an unpainted terracotta-rose tone, showing every crease in the leather, every grasping tendon in the legs, and the ornate circular motif at the front of the bag. It's a deeply characterful piece that rewards careful painting — browns and tans for the leather, sickly pallid flesh for the limbs — and reads immediately and unmistakably on the tabletop.

Suited for adventurers who:

  • Want a mimic-adjacent encounter that subverts player expectations
  • Are building an urban, market, or dungeon-crawl scenario with a weird twist
  • Love collecting unusual and lore-rich creature sculpts
  • Enjoy a challenging and rewarding painting project
  • Want a display piece that sparks conversation

Encounter Hook:
The party's rogue spots a satchel lying abandoned in the middle of a ransacked merchant's stall — no blood, no sign of struggle, just a single bag sitting very, very still. Then the fighter reaches for it, and it runs.

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue.
