Bael is no mere devil footsoldier. As one of the most powerful archdevils of the Nine Hells, he commands legions with cold authority and negotiates souls the way generals negotiate treaties. This miniature captures him in exactly that posture: armoured head to foot in spiked infernal plate, a star-headed mace hanging loose in one hand and the other raised with clawed fingers outstretched — the gesture of a being utterly confident he has already won. His horned, sneering face beneath lank hair carries the contempt of something that has outlasted empires.
The sculpt is rich in detail — layered pauldrons bristling with spines, chain-adorned tassets, articulated greaves, and a breastplate carved into sweeping angular forms. Whether you use him as an archdevil BBEG, a warlock patron made manifest, or the terrifying face of infernal law in your campaign, he reads immediately as a figure of consequence. He paints up magnificently and holds his own on a display shelf too.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need an archdevil BBEG with presence and authority for a high-stakes campaign arc
- Are running a Baldur's Gate, Nine Hells, or infernal contract storyline
- Want a warlock patron or devil lord NPC that commands instant respect at the table
- Collect fiend miniatures for painting projects or display
Encounter Hook:
The party finds the missing duke — alive, seated in a gilded chair at the centre of a pentagram, and calmly signing a document. Bael stands across from him, mace at his side, watching the party arrive with the patient amusement of someone who already knows how this ends. The ink is infernal. The contract has a second signature line.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are separate pieces — a small amount of super glue brings them together, and the decorative base is designed to complement the figure's pose. Arrives unprimed and ready for your brush, or impressive straight off the table as-is.
