Description

Two heads emerged from the shallows — small, scaled, and already hunting together — a hydra not yet grown into its legend.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This charming yet quietly unsettling hatchling captures the early life of a plesiosaur hydra: two serpentine necks and heads resting side by side on a textured oval base, their eyes half-lidded with the drowsy menace of creatures that haven't yet learned to be afraid of anything. It's the kind of miniature that makes a Dungeon Master smile — because it suggests something much, much larger is nearby.

Whether you're introducing a juvenile hydra encounter in a flooded ruin, using it as a familiar or beast companion, or simply adding it to your display shelf as a piece of creature lore made physical, this sculpt rewards a close look. The layered scales, the subtle wing-like limb folds, and the paired heads resting in easy companionship give it genuine character at tabletop scale.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run aquatic or swamp-based D&D and TTRPG encounters
  • Want a juvenile or hatchling variant to hint at a larger campaign threat
  • Are building a beast or dragon-type creature collection for display
  • Enjoy painting characterful, compact sculpts with detailed surface texture

Encounter Hook:
The party's boat list to starboard — something has surfaced alongside the hull. Two heads rise from the dark water, not attacking, simply watching. Whatever hatched these is still out there, and it knows they're here.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature comes attached to its base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting — or use it straight from the box. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
