The Baby Ice Fungus is one of those rare miniatures that manages to be both charming and unsettling in equal measure. Squat and rotund, it shuffles forward on stubby legs, its wide body wrapped in loose, wrinkled skin. Erupting from the top of its lumpy, scale-textured cap is a cluster of jagged mineral crystals — raw, angular, and clearly not decorative. Tiny shards jut from its wrists too, as though the creature is slowly crystallising from the outside in. Its expression is magnificently grumpy: heavy-lidded eyes, a downturned mouth, the look of something that has been awake far too long and is not pleased about it. As a Myconid variant, it fits beautifully into Underdark settings — a fungal creature touched by deep earth magic, equally at home as a wandering oddity, a colony scout, or a peculiar ally with an agenda all its own.
This sculpt holds exceptional detail across the pebbled cap texture, the crystalline growth, and the folds of skin — making it a rewarding subject for painters and a characterful addition to any display shelf or encounter table.

Encounter Hook:
The party follows a trail of mineral dust deeper into the cavern until they find its source — a single small creature sitting motionless among the stalagmites, crystals growing slowly from its cap, its eyes fixed on the party with an expression that could be hostility, curiosity, or ancient indifference. It holds out one stubby hand. Something glints in its palm.

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue — note that some sculpts are designed to interact with their base, so the decorative base is recommended for the best presentation. Suitable for gaming and display collecting alike.
