Description

Before it learns to hunt, it watches — head tilted, talons splayed, wings half-spread on a mossy stone, trying to decide if you're a threat or a friend.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The baby griffon sits at that irresistible crossroads between fierce and endearing. Its eagle beak and scaled taloned forelegs speak of a creature already built to tear, while the round wide eyes and compact frame tell a story of something still growing into its own legend. Whether you're depicting a gryphon nest encounter, a ranger's unlikely bond, or a magical creature market gone very wrong, this sculpt carries genuine character in every feather.

The detail here rewards a painter — individually carved feathers across the wings, textured scales climbing the front legs, a lion-haunched rear with a tufted tail, and a sculpted rocky base that grounds the piece naturally. Equally at home on a game table as it is on a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness or mountain encounters involving griffon lairs or nesting pairs
  • Want a compelling animal companion or exotic beast for a Ranger or Druid
  • Are building a creature collection for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
  • Enjoy painting feathered and furred creatures with mixed textures

Encounter Hook:
The party crests the ridge to find a shattered egg, two dead pack horses, and a fledgling griffon standing over the wreckage — alone, cornered, and making a sound somewhere between a screech and a cry. The adult could return at any moment. What do they do?
