Baby Fruit Drake by Mia Kay M3DM

Not every dragon is born of fire and fury — some emerge from sun-warmed soil, wreathed in petals, and regard the world with ancient, curious eyes far too knowing for something so small.

The Baby Fruit Drake is one of those miniatures that stops people mid-sentence. It is a young drake — compact, round-bellied, and utterly alive with botanical detail — perched atop a ripe pumpkin as though it owns the garden and everything in it. A mane of layered succulent leaves crowns its head, leaf-like winglets spread behind its haunches, and the base around it blooms with tiny flowers and a delicate butterfly alighting on a slender stem. Every surface rewards a second look: the swirling eye, the petal-edged frill, the little clusters of flora tucked beneath its feet.

This is the sort of creature a Druid finds nesting in their herb garden one morning and spends the rest of the campaign quietly panicking about. It could be a familiar, a wildshape companion, a Feywild sprite's mount, or simply the most charming wandering monster your players have ever refused to fight. Equally, painted in greens, ochres and burnt oranges, it makes a genuinely captivating display piece for a painting shelf.

The sculpt is offered with a choice of base option to suit your needs: the decorative scenic base (shown in the renders) includes the full pumpkin-and-flora scene; a plain base gives you a clean round to paint your own groundwork; or you can take the miniature without a base entirely for custom basing projects.

Encounter Hook: The village elder swears something has been raiding the harvest pumpkins — not eating them, just sitting on them, staring. Three farmers have already tried to shoo it away. Three farmers have already failed. The party arrives to find a small draconic creature regarding them from atop the largest gourd in the field, its leaf-crown rustling, its unblinking eye suggesting it has already assessed every one of them and reached a verdict.
