Description

Even before they can walk, an ettin's two heads are already bickering — one waving a toy menacingly while the other sulks with a dummy and a rattle.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Ettins are among the most chaotic of giant-kin, their dual-headed nature meaning every thought, instinct, and grudge is immediately argued over by the other half. This sculpt by Mia Kay captures that contradiction at its most disarming: a rotund ettin infant, sitting in its nappy on a soft pillow-like base, one head sneering and brandishing a tiny toy crossbow-like rattle, the other pouting with a pacifier and clutching a comfort blanket. It's ridiculous. It's endearing. It absolutely belongs on your table.

For Dungeon Masters, this miniature opens up wonderfully unexpected storytelling space. Drop it into an ettin den as a reason the party can't simply slaughter their way through, use it as a wildly off-putting offering from a giant-kin tribe, or let it be the unexpected ward of a more sympathetic NPC. For collectors and painters, the expressive dual faces and richly characterful details make it a genuinely rewarding piece to work on.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run giant-kin encounters with more nuance than pure combat
  • Want a characterful NPC or environmental detail for ettin lairs or wilderness camps
  • Are building a giants-themed collection or display shelf
  • Love expressive, lore-grounded sculpts that reward careful painting
  • Need something that will make the whole table laugh before the session even starts

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the missing shepherd's flock to a hillside hollow — and finds a juvenile ettin sitting in the middle of the scattered sheep, playing contentedly, its two heads arguing over which lamb is the better toy. Somewhere nearby, from the sound of it, the parents are looking for their infant.
