Don't let the small stature fool you — this baby dragon carries every ounce of menace its full-grown kin are famed for. Sculpted in a low, ground-hugging crouch, the hatchling's weight is settled forward onto splayed claws, its leathery wings half-raised and its spined tail curled out behind it. The textured scales are deeply detailed across the body, shifting between the fine granular skin of the snout and the broader, rougher armour plates along the spine. A ridge of prominent dorsal spines runs from the neck back, hinting at the apex predator this creature will one day become.

The face is where the real character lives: wide, unblinking eyes with a sharp reptilian focus, a broad snout pulled into a toothy snarl, and a set of short but very real horns crowning the head. The base grounds the whole scene in a scatter of rocky rubble — perfect for a mountain lair, a dragon's nest, or a wilderness encounter gone very wrong very quickly.
