This is the Aztec Sorceress (pose 01) from Galaad Miniatures — a formidable ritual caster draped in tribal regalia that speaks of ancient pacts and sacred power. Her elaborate headdress of feathers, antlers, and a skull mask marks her as someone who has walked the threshold between the living world and whatever lies beyond it. She stands mid-incantation: one hand outstretched with fingers splayed and crackling with unseen force, the other gripping a sinuous, wavy-bladed ritual dagger. Crossed wrappings, hammered metal adornments, and laced leather boots complete an appearance that is both ceremonially charged and combat-ready.

The sculpt rewards painters with exceptional surface texture — the braided hair visible from the rear, the layered cloth panels at her waist, the fine detail on the skull centrepiece of her headdress, and the carved base of worn stone tiles all offer excellent contrast opportunities. She works equally well as a dramatic NPC, a Druid, Sorcerer, or Cleric player character, or as a centrepiece for a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a charismatic tribal spellcaster or witchdoctor NPC for their campaign
  • Are building a jungle ruin, lost civilisation, or spirit-realm encounter
  • Play a Druid, Sorcerer, or Cleric and want a miniature with real ritual presence
  • Collect character-driven sculpts with strong cultural and narrative identity
  • Enjoy painting intricate headdress detail, layered cloth, and ornamental metalwork

Encounter Hook:
The party breaches the inner sanctum of the sunken temple only to find her already there — standing over the cracked altar stone, palm raised toward the howling spirit she has half-summoned from the rift above. She does not look surprised to see them. She says she has been waiting since the last new moon. The ritual cannot be stopped. Only redirected.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative cobblestone base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue brings them together cleanly. The base is an integral part of the composition and the figure is sculpted to interact with it naturally. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or display as cast.
