Description

Small in stature but fierce in spirit, the axolotl folk of the deep rivers have long been dismissed by surface-dwellers — a mistake that tends to last only until the first sword swing.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the first pose in our Axolotl Fighter range, sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM. The mini captures a compact, forward-lunging warrior mid-advance: sword raised in the right hand, a battered rectangular shield braced on the left arm, and a determined expression set beneath that instantly recognisable crown of feathery external gills. Chunky plate armour sits over a fur-trimmed tunic, and the webbed feet and frilled ankles ground the figure firmly in its amphibian heritage. It's a character that reads as both charming and genuinely combat-ready — the kind of PC or NPC that earns a double-take and then a healthy dose of respect.

Whether you're running an aquatic campaign, a riverside town with unusual inhabitants, or simply want a player character miniature that stands apart from the usual fare, this axolotl fighter brings real personality to the table. Equally suited to gaming sessions and display shelves alike.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a distinctive, non-human fighter PC that sparks conversation
  • Are building an aquatic, riverlands, or coastal encounter roster
  • Need a memorable NPC guard, champion, or rival with a striking silhouette
  • Collect character minis with genuine sculptural charm

Encounter Hook:
The party's river crossing is blocked by a lone axolotl warrior standing shin-deep in the current, shield raised and sword levelled — not aggressive, just immovable. She says only: "The village downriver hired me. You'll want to explain yourselves before I decide whether to let you pass."
