Description

He came down from the highlands with nothing but a great-axe across his shoulders and a skull-tipped belt — and that was more than enough.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Axe Barbarian cuts an arresting silhouette — bare-chested and muscular, wearing only minimal leather strapping across the torso, wrapped greaves at the shins, and an ornate belt adorned with a small skull charm and coiled rope. His great-axe rests across both shoulders in a confident, almost casual carry pose that radiates danger. The weapon itself is a wide, heavy-bladed axe with a textured, battle-worn surface and wrapped haft — the kind of weapon that doesn't need embellishment because the work speaks for itself.

His hair is pulled back with long braids framing his face, and his expression is composed and controlled — not rage-blind, but calculating. A short blade is tucked into the back of his belt for when the great-axe is overkill, which is presumably never. The sculpt captures that quiet before-the-storm energy that makes a good barbarian so compelling to paint: skin that rewards layered highlighting, a weapon that begs for battle-worn metallics, and enough strapping and rope detail to keep a brush busy for hours.

Whether you're statting him out as a Path of the Berserker, a Totem Warrior, or a barbarian chieftain NPC your players are definitely about to make enemies of, this sculpt delivers the presence the role demands.

This miniature is a great choice for adventurers who:

  • Play a barbarian PC in any tribal, wilderness, or grassland campaign setting
  • Need a warlord, champion, or raider captain for an encounter group
  • Want a confident, grounded sculpt that paints up beautifully without gimmicks
  • Are building a warband or tribal settlement diorama

Encounter Hook: The party tracks a series of burned supply convoys back to a highland clan that's been pushed off ancestral land by the Duke's new roads. At the edge of the treeline, their champion steps forward — great-axe resting across both shoulders, skull at his hip — and offers a single question before the fighting starts: "Whose side are you really on?"
