This Awakened Shrub — rendered without a single leaf — is anything but innocent. Two gnarled trunks rise from a shared base, their reaching branches intertwining to form a hollow, arch-like canopy of thorns and bare wood. There's something deeply unsettling about a plant creature stripped of its foliage: no seasonal comfort here, just angular, skeletal menace. Whether the work of a hag's curse, a blighted Feywild, or a druid who pushed the boundaries of Wild Shape too far, this piece carries genuine atmosphere straight out of the box.
In D&D 5e terms, Awakened Shrubs are Minor Plant creatures, but this sculpt does far more heavy lifting than the stat block suggests. The arch formed by the two trunks makes it equally compelling as scatter terrain — a cursed gateway, a forest monument, or the entrance to something your players really shouldn't walk through. Painted or left in raw grey, it reads clearly on a battlemat and earns its place on any display shelf devoted to the darker corners of the Material Plane.

The old road through the Thornwood was supposed to be quicker. It was — until the party realised the arch of bare branches they passed under an hour ago is now directly ahead of them again, and the bark where two trunks meet is slowly pulling apart into something that might be a mouth.
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied as a single piece attached to a flat round base — no assembly required. The sculpt is printed at high resolution, supports removed, and fully cured. Minor surface marks are possible and can be touched up before priming. Suitable for gaming and display collecting alike.
