Aurumvorax 01 by Yasashii Kyojin Studios
Description
Where the scent of gold lingers in the earth, the Aurumvorax follows — a relentless, eight-legged predator whose claws can rend iron and whose hunger has no floor.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Aurumvorax is one of those creatures that rewards dungeon masters who love a truly unnerving encounter. Low to the ground, massively muscled, with a lion-like mane bristling with sharp quills and a snarling maw wide enough to make your players reconsider their life choices — this sculpt captures the beast mid-stalk, front claws planted on a rocky outcrop as it lunges forward, jaws agape. The feathered, quill-covered back and thick, tufted tail bristle with predatory intent, while the sheer breadth of the creature makes it clear this is not a monster you want to face in an enclosed tunnel.
Details
At 15mm tall and printed at 32mm scale, this is a compact but genuinely menacing presence on the table. Whether you paint it as a tawny gold-furred horror or a pale cave-dweller bleached of colour by years underground, the sculpt holds extraordinary surface detail throughout — every quill, claw, and wrinkled lip registers cleanly and will reward careful brushwork. Equally at home as a display piece as it is anchoring a tense combat encounter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a classic D&D monster that players won't immediately recognise — and will immediately fear
- Are building dungeon, cave, or mine encounters requiring a credible ambush predator
- Love painting creature miniatures with complex fur, quill, and skin textures
- Collect fantasy beast minis for display or diorama work
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to clear out a collapsed mine near a wealthy merchant's estate — but as they descend, they find the bodies of the previous excavation crew, each one bearing deep parallel claw marks through solid stone. Something nested here while the mine lay abandoned, and it has been fed well. The Aurumvorax is still below. It is not alone, and it does not intend to share its claim.
Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Scaled to 32mm (approximately 15mm tall). Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Minor imperfections from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
