Aurora Queen Bust by Great Grimoire
Description
They say the Aurora Queen does not rule from a throne — she rules from silence, her star-marked gaze enough to still a hall of a thousand voices.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This collector's bust from Great Grimoire captures a figure of considerable mystique: a hooded woman in layered armour, her face marked with three arcane dots across the brow, and her expression carrying the cool composure of someone who has already seen how this encounter ends. Atop her hood rises an elaborate crown of interlocking horns, crescent blades, and a central diamond sigil — the kind of headdress that speaks not of inherited power but of power claimed. A flowing cloak drapes across her shoulders, its folds sculpted with the weight of ceremony.
Details
This is a display bust, mounted on a tiered pedestal base, designed to showcase the sculptor's craft and reward a painter's patience. The front presents every detail of her face, armour, and crown; the reverse reveals the full sweep of her cloak and the clean geometry of her headdress from behind. Whether she's a celestial sovereign, an Archfey patron, a Warlock's mysterious benefactor, or the villainous architect of your campaign's central conspiracy — Aurora lends herself to rich interpretation.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Enjoy display painting projects with layered armour, facial detail, and dramatic headwear
- Want a centrepiece bust for a fantasy shelf or showcase cabinet
- Are building a memorable patron, villain, or divine figure for their TTRPG campaign
- Collect character busts as works of art in their own right
Encounter Hook:
The party has been summoned to the Vault of the Ascending Stars — a chamber lit only by the faint glow of celestial runes — where a bust identical to this one sits at the far end of a long obsidian table. As the Dungeon Master describes the crown, the facial markings, the cold authority in the sculpted gaze, one player mutters: "That's her. That's the woman from the vision." The campaign just changed shape entirely.
This is a display bust, not a standard combat miniature — its scale and pedestal base are designed for painting and showcase rather than the gaming table. Supplied unpainted in grey resin. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks may occasionally remain and can be tidied with light sanding.
