This is pose 02 of our Auril range, sculpted by Yasashii Kyojin Studio. Where pose 01 may suggest cold composure, this variant carries an edge of barely-restrained menace. She stands tall and unhurried, a massive spiked mace trailing from one hand as though its weight means nothing to her. Curved ram horns sweep back from her brow, and a savage collar of jagged bone-like spines erupts from her shoulders and chest, framing a face of unsettling calm. Her skirt is layered in feathered or frost-stripped panels, and the clawed fingers of her free hand hang loose — not threatening, not yet, but ready. There is nothing performative about her power. She simply is.

For Dungeon Masters running Icewind Dale or any campaign where winter has a divine will behind it, this sculpt works as a boss encounter piece of genuine presence. She reads equally well as the Frostmaiden herself, a winter archfey from the Feywild, or a homebrew deity whose followers have been leaving frozen corpses across your campaign map. Display collectors will find her a compelling centrepiece — the detail on the spiked mantle and the mace head rewards careful brushwork.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a divine winter boss for an Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign
  • Are building a winter court encounter with a commanding central figure
  • Want a tiefling-adjacent divine NPC who radiates cold authority
  • Are looking for a display piece that rewards layered, high-contrast painting
  • Already have pose 01 and want to expand their Auril range

Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the frozen shrine at the peak of the Spine of the World. The offerings left by the cultists — flowers, candles, carved idols — are all encased in ice, perfectly preserved. Then one of them moves. She has been standing among them since before you arrived, utterly still, watching to see if you would notice. The mace scrapes across the stone as she turns. She speaks first: "You came all this way. I am curious what you thought would happen next."
