He walks the court with the easy confidence of a man who has never once doubted that the crown suits him — and the sword at his hip suggests he's prepared to argue the point.

Aurelius is a noble of quiet menace and studied elegance. Dressed in a richly embroidered doublet with voluminous puffed sleeves, an ornate lace ruff collar, and a flowing cape that sweeps behind him, he cuts the figure of a Renaissance courtier as comfortable at a feast as on a duelling ground. His filigree crown sits with unhurried authority, and the longsword he carries — gripped with practised ease — makes clear that this is no pampered lordling. Whether he's a scheming prince, a disgraced king, or the kind of powerful patron who gives the party a job they can't refuse, Aurelius brings the weight of aristocratic ambition to any tabletop encounter.

The sculpt is rendered in clean grey resin across two distinct poses: one with his leg raised mid-stride, sword tucked back at his side in a moment of imperious stillness; the other standing tall in a three-quarter turn, blade drawn and cloak billowing — a man ready to act. The detail across his costume is exceptional, from the swirling embroidery on his doublet back to the layered filigree of his crown.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a compelling named NPC — a king, a rival noble, or a shadowy patron
  • Are running a court intrigue campaign or urban political arc
  • Want a noble-born Fighter, Bard, or Rogue as their player character
  • Collect finely detailed historical-fantasy sculpts for display

Encounter Hook:
The party is summoned before Lord Aurelius in the throne room of a city they've only just arrived in. He greets them warmly, pours wine, and makes an offer that sounds generous — until one of the players notices his sword hand never fully relaxes. Whatever he wants, he intends to have it. The question is whether they'll give it to him willingly.
