Ilyara Deri is the Assassin of the Waning Moon — a drow killer of quiet purpose and breathtaking precision, sculpted as part of DM Stash's Schism of the Drow collection. She advances mid-stride across a rubble-strewn base, one hand gripping a short blade close to her body while her other arm sweeps a long, ornate crescent-bladed weapon overhead. Her cape billows behind her in a wide, dramatic arc, and her segmented armour — etched with flowing scrollwork at the shoulders and belt — speaks of a warrior who values both elegance and lethality in equal measure.
The sculpt captures a specific moment of kinetic violence: weight forward, knees bent, the whole figure coiled to strike. The crescent weapon itself is a centrepiece — a long, spine-covered haft topped with a curved, jewel-set blade of unmistakable Underdark craft. The decorative scenic base adds depth and context, showing broken stonework half-buried in debris, grounding Ilyara in the collapsing tunnels and forgotten chambers of a world below the world.
This is a multipart miniature supplied with both a decorative scenic base and a plain base, giving you flexibility for both table play and display presentation. Supported and unsupported files are available at source, and the sculpt has been produced to a level of detail that rewards patient painters — the cape folds, armour filigree, and blade engravings all respond exceptionally well to washes and zenithal priming.
Suited for adventurers who:
- Are running a drow-focused campaign or Underdark arc
- Need a compelling assassin NPC or recurring villain with visual presence
- Play a drow Rogue, Ranger, or Monk and want a miniature that fits the archetype
- Collect display-quality sculpts from the Schism of the Drow range
- Enjoy painting fine detail work — scrollwork armour, jewelled weapons, and flowing cloth
Encounter Hook
The party has been hired to recover a stolen Underdark trade manifest — but when they trace its last known location to a collapsed spider-silk merchant's vault, they find three guards dead, posed sitting upright as though still at their posts. On the wall behind them, scratched in Elvish: The moon does not shine here. Neither shall you. Ilyara is already three levels above them and moving fast.
