Description

He doesn't shout threats or make speeches — Leo Bonhardt simply extends one blade towards you, and somehow that silence is worse than any war cry.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 2 of our Leo Bonhardt range from The Toadstool Weaver. Where pose 1 might have Leo coiled and ready to strike, here he is caught mid-action: one longsword thrust forward with casual, almost contemptuous precision, the second blade held low at his side — a man who has done this before and expects to do it again. His long hair falls loose around weathered features, his open coat barely concealing the lean, scarred frame beneath. There is nothing theatrical about him. That is exactly what makes him dangerous.

Leo reads as a seasoned killer-for-hire rather than a blunt-force bandit — the kind of figure who turns up at the end of a contract, not at the beginning of a brawl. He suits morally complex storylines, shadowy employer figures, and moments where your players realise they've been followed for longer than they thought. He works equally well as a recurring antagonist, a grudging ally, or the face that appears when the party's enemies decide to stop sending minions. A compelling addition to any painted display collection as well as to the table.

Suits adventurers who:

  • Need a named assassin NPC with a distinctive, unhurried presence
  • Are running campaign arcs involving guilds, contracts, or political intrigue
  • Want a dual-wielding human fighter or rogue to use as a player character
  • Are collectors after a character sculpt with real personality and paintable detail

Encounter Hook:
The party makes camp in a roadside waystation, three days from the city. In the early hours, one of them wakes to find Leo Bonhardt seated at the table across the room, both swords laid flat before him. He says only: "I was paid to kill one of you. I haven't decided yet whether the contract was worth it." He does not reach for the blades. He is waiting to see what they do next.
