Description

Once a scholar of forbidden lore, the Ashenwight now walks a cold grey road between death and purpose — a will without a heartbeat, draped in the faded trappings of a life long extinguished.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Ashenwight cuts an unsettling silhouette — broad-shouldered and deliberate, wearing a heavy hooded travelling cloak over layered dark robes. An olive-gold sash cinches the figure at the waist, its frayed trim hinting at former standing. The skin is a cold, sickly green, the face gaunt but still eerily composed — hollow white eyes staring forward with the calm certainty of something that has long since stopped fearing consequences. One fist hangs clenched at the side, the other relaxed beneath a gloved sleeve, both conveying restrained menace rather than open aggression. This is not a creature that rushes. It waits.

What makes the Ashenwight compelling at the table is precisely that composure. It doesn't lurch or shamble — it arrives. The sculpt lends itself beautifully to a wight who was once a spymaster, a physician, or a cult archivist; someone who chose this path rather than stumbling into it. The worn feathered pauldrons and layered cloth give a painter rich textural variety, from the creased leather of the cloak to the tattered fringe of the sash and the ashen pallor of the exposed skin.

This is the second Ashenwight sculpt from The Toadstool Weaver's range, and it carries a slightly different energy from its companion piece — more guarded, more watchful, as though caught mid-thought rather than mid-motion. The two work naturally as a pair for a recurring undead presence in your campaign, or stand equally well alone.

  • A named wight antagonist who remembers exactly who wronged them in life
  • An undead guardian posted at the threshold of a crypt the party was warned not to open
  • A corrupted sage whose collected knowledge the party desperately needs — and whose price is steep
  • A quiet, slow-burning horror encounter in a village where the missing have been returning changed

Encounter Hook: The party receives a letter — in their own handwriting, dates they've never visited, knowledge only they possess — signed with a name none of them recognise. When they arrive at the address to investigate, the door is already open, and a figure in a hooded robe stands at the far end of a darkened hall, back turned, waiting for them to come inside.
