The Armanite is one of the Abyss's cavalry demons: fast, savage, and built for the brutal skirmish lines of the Blood War. This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures exactly that energy — a hulking centauroid frame with the hindquarters of a demonic steed, the upper body of a horned fiend corded with muscle, and a segmented scorpion-like tail arching overhead like a raised weapon. The open clawed hand and snarling fanged maw give it the look of a creature mid-charge, mid-demand — or mid-curse. Every surface tells a story: scaled flanks, jagged spinal horns, and the kind of raw physical menace that makes a party rethink their positioning.
Whether you're dropping it into a Blood War encounter, a summoning gone catastrophically right, or a demonic cavalry assault on a city gate, this miniature carries the weight of a creature that does not negotiate. It photographs just as well on a display shelf as it does on the battlemat.
Well-suited to adventurers who:
- Need a large-scale abyssal demon for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building Blood War, Avernus, or demonic invasion campaigns
- Want a centauroid fiend with genuine visual presence on the table
- Paint and collect fantasy miniatures for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The tiefling warlock's patron promised safe passage through the Abyss. What they didn't mention was the Armanite patrol that considers all uninvited souls to be trespassers — and has a scorpion tail that makes its position on the matter very clear.
