Areshkagal is no ordinary sphinx. Where other sphinxes present riddles with cold, predatory eyes, this one offers something far more unsettling — nothing. The face is absent, replaced by a smooth, featureless mask of pale bone framed in cascading golden hair and an ornate pharaonic crown of deep blue and burnished gold. Her body is entirely draconic: deep cobalt scales, bat-like wings spread in a warning display, and cruel gilded talons gripping the earth beneath her. She is posed low and predatory, head angled as though listening for the heartbeat of whoever dares approach.

The sculpt leans into an Egyptian mythological aesthetic with real conviction — the elaborate slotted crown, the flowing mane, and the powerful quadrupedal dragon form combine into something that feels genuinely alien. She would not look out of place guarding a pharaoh's sealed tomb or presiding over a pocket dimension between planes. The absence of a face is not an oversight; it is the point. It raises questions that no saving throw can answer.
