The Arctic Boar is no farmyard animal grown fat on scraps — this is a large-category beast built for survival in the most punishing environments the world can offer. The sculpt captures a creature mid-charge: massive haunches coiled with muscle, wide claws splayed across the ground for purchase on ice, and a head lowered to gore with those sweeping, serrated tusks. A ridge of armoured spines runs along the back from shoulder to rump, and the snout is flanked by a secondary pair of smaller tusks that leave no doubt this animal has survived encounters it probably started. The expression — wide-eyed, mouth agape — reads as aggression rather than fear. This is not a fleeing prey animal. This is an apex.

The sculpt sits at the large size category, and Epic Miniatures have packed the surface with texture: wrinkled hide at the neck and jowls, scaled claws, and coarse fur tufting between the toes. A scale reference in the render confirms this towers appropriately over standard 32mm humanoid figures. Whether you're running a tundra wilderness encounter, populating a frost giant's hunting grounds, or building a naturalistic display piece, this miniature carries the presence the stat block demands.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Run arctic, mountain, or wilderness-themed campaigns
  • Need a large beast encounter that reads immediately as a serious threat
  • Want a characterful animal mini that works as both a monster and a mount or companion
  • Are painting collectors drawn to complex hide, tusk, and spine textures
  • Play druids, rangers, or beast-masters looking for a distinctive animal companion piece

Encounter Hook: The hunters of Ironpeak village speak of a boar they call the Pale Tusk — twice the size of any natural specimen, bearing a ridge of bone spines that no arrow has yet pierced. The party is hired to track it into the glacier fields, but when they find the beast standing motionless in the fog, its breath steaming, they realise it has already been tracking them. Roll for initiative.
