Description

Built by a civilisation long since turned to dust, the Netronid still scuttles through the dark places of the world, carrying out orders no living soul can remember giving.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Netronid is a mechanical arachnid construct of extraordinary craftsmanship — eight articulated limbs of riveted metal carry a rune-etched carapace forward with unsettling precision, while above it, an ornate arcane ring crackles with contained energy, its baroque filigree a stark contrast to the machine's otherwise utilitarian frame. Crystals jut from the rocky terrain beneath its feet, suggesting it haunts mineral-rich ruins or forgotten vaults deep underground. This is a construct with history written into every joint and glyph.

For Dungeon Masters, the Netronid works equally well as an ancient automated guardian, a rogue artificer's creation, or the centrepiece of an arcane laboratory encounter. Its aesthetic sits at the intersection of mechanical precision and arcane grandeur — clockwork meets spellcraft, and the result is deeply unsettling. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf, this is a sculpt that earns its space in any collection.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run encounters in ancient ruins, arcane vaults, or artificer dungeons
  • Need a visually distinct construct enemy or guardian NPC
  • Collect mechanical and clockwork-themed miniatures
  • Want a statement piece for a display shelf or diorama

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the crystal-studded lower chamber of the Magewright's Folly and finds it already occupied — a clicking, rotating horror of metal and rune-light that swivels its arcane ring towards them as though reading their souls. The command word to stand it down died with its creator four hundred years ago, and it has had nothing to protect against since. Until now.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its scenic rocky base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the model is sculpted to interact with its base, so the two work best displayed together. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming, or use it straight from the box for gaming. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up.

The cats attempted a Sleight of Hand check on the bubble wrap. We do not discuss what happened.
