Golems are not built to negotiate. The Arcane Stone Golem Smash makes that abundantly clear — this is a creature mid-motion, every massive limb committed to delivering a blow that could bring down a wall. The sculpt captures the golem at the precise moment of maximum threat: torso twisted, one boulder-like fist cocked and bandage-wrapped, the other raised in a sweeping guard, and a broad, grimacing face locked onto whatever unfortunate soul has wandered into its path.
The surface detail is genuinely impressive up close. Rune-etched armour plates break up the mass of the body, layered over sinuous cloth wrappings that coil around the forearms and torso — giving this construct an almost ritualistic character, as though it was bound by an arcane rite as much as assembled from stone. The scenic base grounds it in a frozen or crumbling terrain, with cracked earth beneath those enormous feet, selling the sense that the floor itself cannot withstand the weight.
This is a Huge miniature on a 76.5mm base, so it commands real table presence. Whether you're running it as a dungeon guardian, a malfunctioning arcane experiment, or the cornerstone piece of an elaborate display diorama, it earns its footprint.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a high-impact construct or golem encounter in a dungeon, arcane laboratory, or ruined fortress
- Are painting a steampunk or arcane-themed collection and want a centrepiece model
- Run sandboxes where a dormant guardian suddenly becomes the party's most immediate problem
- Want a large-scale model that photographs well for display or social media
Encounter Hook
The party has finally reached the inner sanctum of the Artificer's Tower — only to find the vault door already breached. Standing amid the wreckage, motionless and silent, is a golem the size of a cart horse, its rune-lights dark. When the rogue reaches for the chest at its feet, one enormous fist begins to rise. The contingency enchantment, it turns out, is still very much active.
