Arcane Fount by Ella's Arcanum
Description
The basin's surface shimmers with a faint luminescence, its carved sigil pulsing with energy that no scholar has yet explained — and several have stopped trying.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This Arcane Fount is a stone pedestal scatter piece with real character: rough-hewn masonry blocks form the base, a heraldic banner bearing a sword-and-serpent emblem hangs from the front, and a wide shallow basin rests atop it all — textured as though something within is always just on the verge of stirring. Whether it marks a place of worship, channels ley line energy, or simply looks ominous in the corner of a dungeon room, it gives your table an immediate sense of place.
As a scatter terrain piece it earns its keep across a wide range of settings — sanctuaries, wizard towers, ruined temples, city plazas, or anywhere a Dungeon Master wants to signal that something important happened here once, and might again. It's equally at home on a display shelf alongside painted adventurers and larger set pieces.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Are building dungeon, temple, or arcane-themed battle maps
- Want atmospheric scatter terrain that doubles as a points of interest marker
- Enjoy painting detailed stonework and carved heraldic detail
- Are curating a display collection of fantasy terrain and miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the sanctum to find the fount already active — its basin filled with a slowly rotating constellation of silver motes. When the rogue reaches out to touch the sigil on the banner, the motes freeze. A voice from nowhere asks, in a very reasonable tone, what they are willing to give.
Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Scaled to 32mm and suited for use in play or as a display piece. No base is included beyond the sculpt's own stone plinth. Minor support marks are possible but fully manageable with light cleanup.
