Description

It does not speak. It simply opens one more eye, and suddenly everyone in the room remembers every secret they have ever kept.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Arcane Eye King is unlike anything the Monster Manual prepares you for. A spherical mass of layered feathers and scattered, unblinking eyes, it drifts with unsettling grace on a corona of outstretched wings — seven, eight, perhaps more, each beating independently as though governed by a separate will. A jagged iron crown sits atop the creature, lending it a terrible sovereignty that goes far beyond mere aberrant menace. This is something older and stranger: a ruler of the unseen, a watcher that has been watching since before your party's bloodlines began.

Great Grimoire's sculpt captures every quill, every lidless eye, every curl of talon-like feather tip with extraordinary detail across three distinct poses. Each variant presents the creature at a different angle of threat — one hovering in predatory stillness, one caught mid-rotation as if reacting to something only it can sense, and one rearing upward with wings thrown wide in territorial display. Whether you place one on the board or all three, the Arcane Eye King commands presence at any table.

Scaled to 35mm and available with a choice of decorative base — Square (50mm), Round (50mm), or Chess Board (70mm) — it works equally well as a campaign encounter piece, a chess set king, or a centrepiece for a display shelf. Please specify your preferred base option at checkout.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable boss monster for an Underdark or Far Realm encounter
  • Are building a fantasy chess set with a genuinely unsettling King piece
  • Want an aberration that reads as ancient, intelligent, and utterly alien
  • Collect display miniatures with exceptional sculpt detail
  • Are running a mystery campaign where the party keeps finding evidence that something has been watching them all along

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to recover a stolen relic from the vaults beneath the Athenaeum of Veth. They find it easily — too easily — placed at the centre of an empty chamber beneath a single shaft of cold light. As the rogue reaches for it, every torch in the room dies at once. From the darkness above, seven pairs of eyes open in unison, and a voice that speaks directly into bone rather than ear asks, very quietly: "What did you think you were taking back?"
