This is pose 04 of the Apostle of the Faceless King range by Witchsong Miniatures. Where other cult lieutenants cower in shadow, this apostle strides forward with grim purpose — a runic warhammer raised in one hand and a grotesque tome-shield clutched at his side, its cover carved into a leering demonic face. His tattered robes trail beneath layered dark armour, and the tall pointed hat of his order casts his features deep into shadow. This is a figure of religious menace — not a summoned creature, but a true believer, and that makes him far more dangerous.

Whether you're running a cult-themed campaign arc, a corrupted city-state, or a dungeon built around the worship of something that shouldn't exist, this apostle works brilliantly as a mid-boss, a recurring villain, or a warlock patron's chosen herald. The sculpt carries exceptional detail across the layered robes, the rune-etched hammer head, and the textured stone base — a genuine pleasure to paint and equally striking left in its natural grey on a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding cult leader or senior apostle NPC for a D&D or Pathfinder campaign
  • Are building a Faceless God, Far Realm, or Lovecraftian horror encounter
  • Want a warlock-adjacent villain with genuine visual authority at the table
  • Are collectors who appreciate finely detailed dark fantasy sculpts

Encounter Hook:
The party finds the high priest's chambers empty — except for this apostle, kneeling before a mirror that shows nothing. When he rises and turns, the mirror begins to speak.

Details

Supplied at 32mm tabletop scale. The base is included and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks inherent to the printing process may occasionally be present — these are straightforward to clean up before priming.
