Description
He does not hunt. He waits — staff of the ankh in hand — for the moment your heart is placed upon the scales.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Anubis stands in a wide, commanding stance, his jackal head sharp and alert, a serpentine ankh staff gripped firmly at his side. Egyptian wrappings band his forearms and shins, a layered linen kilt falls to mid-calf, and a broad collar frames his powerful frame. There is nothing chaotic about him — his stillness is the stillness of inevitability. This is a deity who presides over the dead with absolute authority, and every detail of the sculpt reflects that gravitas: the coiled detail on the ankh's loop, the ritual belt clasp, the canine ears angled forward in cold attention.
Whether you place him as a god-figure in a desert tomb campaign, a divine arbiter standing between the party and the afterlife, or a patron deity brought to your display shelf, this sculpt carries genuine mythological weight. He works brilliantly as a BBEG with divine trappings, a guardian of a lost necropolis, or even as a morally complex NPC whose judgement the players must earn — or fear.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Are running Egyptian-themed or desert tomb campaigns
- Need a god-tier NPC or divine BBEG with real presence
- Play or DM settings where death, judgement, and the afterlife are central themes
- Collect mythologically inspired fantasy miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the sealed burial chamber to retrieve the Amulet of the Undying — and finds it already occupied. Anubis stands at the centre of a ring of mummified supplicants, staff raised, eyes fixed on the door. He does not speak first. He is waiting to see if your hearts are worth weighing.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model on a detailed base comes as a single piece. The model with a plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy gluing. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor marks from the print process are possible but easily tidied up. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.
