This is no cheerful winter decoration. The Animated Snowman is a seasonal horror sculpt that takes the familiar cheer of a snow figure and twists it into something genuinely unsettling. The mini depicts a classic snowman silhouette — three stacked spherical sections, a battered top hat, and a trailing scarf — but that's where the festive warmth ends. The face is contorted into a wide, tooth-filled snarl, its jaw gaping open as though mid-shriek, rows of jagged teeth clearly visible. Both arms are outstretched with long, skeletal, claw-like fingers splayed and reaching, frozen in an attacking lunge. The expression and pose are full of frantic, threatening energy — this creature has turned and it wants blood.
The sculpt is a digital render shown in warm terracotta resin, with excellent surface detail visible across the scarf folds, the hatband, and the deeply expressive face. A scale reference die is shown in the promotional image, confirming a medium miniature footprint. The sculpt sits without a traditional base, making it versatile for custom basing or dropping directly onto a hex or square grid. A smaller back-angle view is also shown in the image, giving a clear look at the rear profile — equally well-detailed from every angle.
Whether you're running a twisted winter festival in Ravenloft, a cursed arctic village encounter, or simply want something gloriously weird for a Christmas-themed one-shot, this miniature delivers exactly the right balance of familiar and horrifying. Painted in whites and blacks with a pop of orange it becomes an instantly recognisable — and deeply threatening — table centrepiece.

Encounter Hook: The party arrives in the village of Holtenmere during the Midwinter Festival, only to find the townsfolk have fled their own celebration — the snowmen they built for the children's contest began moving at dusk, and three farmers are already missing. The largest one, wearing a top hat that once belonged to the recently deceased alderman, is blocking the road out of town with its arms spread wide and its mouth torn open in a silent, hungry roar.
