Description

It wore the armour of a knight once — but whatever lived inside it now is older than the order that forged the steel.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Grudgebearer is a figure of grim duality: a hollow suit of spiked plate armour that should be dead, animated by something far worse than mere magic. Grotesque faces press outward from the breastplate as though trapped beneath the metal, and both arms have warped into monstrous, clawed appendages — part gauntlet, part something that crawls. The spiked pauldrons and layered faulds speak to a warrior of rank and menace, while the visored helm keeps whatever lurks within mercifully unseen. This is the Dark Triad range's Grudgebearer, sculpted at 35mm scale — a brooding, heavy presence that works equally well as a tabletop boss encounter or a centrepiece on a collector's shelf.

Two distinct front poses are available — one with the Grudgebearer advancing with arms wide and claws spread, the other with one gauntlet raised as if mid-strike — giving Dungeon Masters and collectors a choice of attitude for their display or encounter. The rear sculpt reveals the full breadth of those twisted arms and the clean armour silhouette from behind, making every angle of this miniature worth showcasing.

A strong choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a corrupted knight or fallen paladin as a campaign villain or recurring antagonist
  • Want a visually distinctive construct or animated armour encounter for D&D 5e
  • Are building a dark fantasy display with Ravenloft or shadowed-kingdom aesthetics
  • Love painting armour with weathering, OSL on the face-reliefs, or verdigris effects

Encounter Hook:
The party was hired to retrieve a heirloom sword from a long-abandoned keep. They find it easily — still clasped in the gauntlet of the Grudgebearer, which has been standing motionless in the great hall for forty years, waiting for someone to try to take it back.

This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note with your preferred base style. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed prior to dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up easily.
