Description

The armour stands at the centre of the ruined hall, empty yet animate — its visor sealed shut, its form swirling with spectral tendrils that drag the faces of the damned in their coils.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Animated Armour 02 from Galaad Miniatures, and it is anything but the plain haunted-suit-of-armour your adventurers might be expecting. Where the standard construct shambles forward with mechanical menace, this one surges upward on a writhing column of ghostly energy — tentacled wisps curling around a riveted breastplate and visored helm, one spectral limb reaching skyward as if commanding something far worse to descend. Skulls and agonised faces emerge from the churning mass at its base, hinting that whatever claimed this armour has claimed others too.

The sculpt reads as a construct with a necromantic or aberrant twist — equally at home as a cursed sentinel guarding a forbidden vault, a failed summoning gone horribly right, or the physical anchor of a ghost that refused to simply fade. At 32mm scale, the vertical dynamism of the pose gives it genuine presence on the tabletop, and the density of surface detail — every tendril, every skull fragment, every rivet on the breastplate — rewards both painters and display collectors alike. This is pose 02 of the Animated Armour range; check the other variants if you'd like a different silhouette for the same creature type.

For adventurers who:

  • Need a Construct or Undead encounter with genuine visual menace
  • Are running a haunted fortress, cursed vault, or aberration-touched dungeon arc
  • Want a centrepiece mini that doubles as a display piece between sessions
  • Are building a themed undead or construct warband with varied poses

Encounter Hook:
The party locates the missing regiment's armoury — every suit of plate still hanging on its rack, undisturbed. Then the furthest one turns its visor toward them, and the green light begins to bleed through the gaps.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces and bond cleanly with superglue. The decorative base is designed to complement the model's pose, and we recommend using it as the two interact visually. Every piece is hand-checked before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied with a craft knife before priming. The mini arrives fully cured and ready to paint or use straight from the box.
