This is the Animated Armour 01 from Galaad Miniatures — a genuinely unsettling sculpt that blends the familiar silhouette of a plated knight with something altogether more otherworldly. The armour itself is intact: pauldrons, breastplate embossed with a faded sigil, riveted tassets. But below the waist, the physical form gives way to roiling waves of spectral energy, ghostly tendrils that curl and surge like smoke given terrible purpose. Heavy chains loop through the body and trail downward, and one gauntleted hand clutches a spectral blade that seems to dissolve into the same ethereal vapour. The visor is closed — whatever once inhabited this armour left long ago, and something far worse took its place.

A Construct by nature in D&D 5e, this miniature reads equally well as an Undead presence for flavour — the kind of encounter that makes players ask nervous questions before they roll initiative. Whether you use it as a guardian in a long-forgotten vault, a cursed relic animated by a necromancer's will, or the centrepiece of a haunted armoury encounter, it carries serious table presence.
