Gwambari is a shaman of rare depth — a figure who has earned the trust of creatures most would never tame. His intricately carved staff, crowned with a twisted horn and a perched bird at its tip, speaks of years spent in wild communion. An owl rests at his shoulder while a second bird launches from his outstretched hand, the pair serving as his eyes across Nordheim's frozen reaches. At his feet, a shaggy wolf stands sentinel, its fur rendered in extraordinary detail. His layered robes and cloak are decorated with tribal knotwork and a feathered fringe along the neckline, and his belt medallion bears a spiral motif that marks him as a keeper of old covenants. The sculpt's base weaves exposed roots and forest debris into a scene that feels genuinely alive.

From the Shadow Over Nordheim setting by DM Stash, Gwambari works equally well as a druid PC with the Beast Speech feature, a Circle of the Shepherd lead, a shaman NPC in a Norse-inflected campaign, or a spirit guide the party must earn the trust of before he reveals what the shadows are truly hiding. He is equally at home on the gaming table and in a display case — the level of sculpt detail rewards careful painting and looks arresting even unpainted.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Play a Druid, Ranger, or Shaman-themed character and want a miniature that actually tells their story
  • Need a memorable NPC — a neutral party the players must negotiate with rather than fight
  • Are building a Nordic, wilderness, or nature-cult campaign arc
  • Collect display-quality character miniatures from independent artists

Encounter Hook:
The party finds Gwambari standing motionless at the edge of a frozen lakeshore, his wolf watching the ice and his owl circling above. He does not turn when they approach. He already knows who they are — his birds have followed them since the last village. What he needs from them, and what he will offer in return, depends entirely on whether they have the wisdom to listen before they speak.

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the sculpt interacts closely with its base, so we recommend displaying them together for the full effect. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor surface marks are possible and can be cleaned up easily before priming.
