Description

He does not come to judge the living — he comes to remind them that the dead were once just as certain of tomorrow as they are now.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Caerian the Inevitable is not the soft-winged herald of resurrection myths. He is the Angel of Death in its rawest form — four vast wings spread wide, one crimson-feathered and burning with fell purpose, the others dark as a moonless sky, every individual feather rendered in extraordinary detail. He wields multiple swords simultaneously, bone-adorned hilts jutting from his fists and tucked at his belt like a warlord who has simply never needed to count the blades. His torso is bare and corded with power, his lower half wrapped in layered armour-skirts of chainmail and sculpted plate, and his helm is crowned with a skull finial — a monarch of endings wearing his title openly.

From the rear, the sheer architecture of those wings is fully revealed: an enormous feathered canopy that would dominate any gaming table or display shelf. The sculpt rewards every angle, which makes Caerian as compelling as a collector's centrepiece as he is terrifying as a boss encounter. Whether you run him as a fallen Solar, an emissary of the Raven Queen, a divine executioner sent to collect an overdue debt, or the final obstacle between your players and the campaign's closing chapter, this is a miniature that carries weight before a single roll is made.

A strong choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding celestial or fallen angel boss for a high-level D&D 5e encounter
  • Are building a divine or planar campaign arc — Planescape, Spelljammer, or homebrew heavens
  • Want a display piece that holds its own on a shelf alongside any collection
  • Play or DM Cleric, Paladin, or Warlock characters tangled in divine politics

Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions hunting the lich who stole the soul of a murdered king — but when they finally breach the inner sanctum, Caerian is already there, swords drawn, waiting. He does not acknowledge the adventurers at first. When he does, he speaks simply: the soul was claimed lawfully, the lich merely borrowed what was already owed, and anyone who interferes with the collection will be added to the manifest. The lich looks genuinely frightened. That should worry everyone.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — some sculpts interact with the base in ways that reward keeping them together. A small amount of superglue is all that's needed to assemble. Printed unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or striking straight from the box as a grey resin display piece.
