Description

The torches gutter and die one by one — and from the darkness between them, a hooded figure rises, its ragged robes trailing into nothing, scythe already swinging.

  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Ancient Wraith is the kind of miniature that makes a Dungeon Master smile and a party of adventurers go very quiet. The sculpt captures a dread spectre mid-advance — its billowing, ragged robes dissolving into ethereal tendrils at the base, skeletal hands clutching a long-hafted scythe decorated with intricate filigree scrollwork along the blade collar. The skull beneath the hood is fully exposed, jaw parted in a ghastly grin, hollow eye sockets fixed on whatever unfortunate soul is next on the harvest list.

The base is a chunky rubble scatter piece — broken stone and debris — that grounds the wraith's otherwise weightless, floating pose and gives the model a dramatic sense of forward momentum. The robes flow beautifully in all directions, and from the rear, the sculpt is just as detailed: the hood, the sweep of fabric, and the raised scythe head all read clearly from any angle across the gaming table.

The large 51mm base means this model has genuine table presence. Whether you're running a Shadowfell incursion, a haunted crypt encounter, or building toward a lich's undead court, the Ancient Wraith commands attention as an elite foe, a herald of death, or the campaign's looming BBEG. Painted with pale, ghostly hues or deep shadow tones, it will be the centrepiece of any undead encounter.

This is a multipart miniature — the scythe fits to the sculpt and the model mounts to your choice of decorative scenic base or plain round base depending on the variant you select.

  • Adventurers who want a genuinely imposing undead foe with real visual impact
  • DMs building Shadowfell, Ravenloft, or graveyard-themed encounters
  • Painters who relish flowing fabric, bone, and filigree detail
  • Collectors who want a showpiece undead sculpt for their display shelf

Encounter Hook: The party enters the desecrated mausoleum of a long-dead wizard-king to retrieve a stolen relic. As they reach the inner sanctum, the temperature plummets and the torchlight dies. From the far end of the hall, the Ancient Wraith drifts forward through solid stone — sent by its lich master to recover what was taken and to add a few more souls to the tally.
